Haegue Yang's work, while abstract, invites viewers into a world that seems strangely familiar. As an installation artist, Haegue seeks to communicate personal feelings and share intimate moments by creating environments that draw on our senses. Haegue's installations explore spaces often overlooked in everyday life, reflecting her belief in the "hiddenness" of stories. Her installations incorporate objects such as lights, fans, heaters, as well as shadows, in order to compose detailed narratives. Exhibiting her work internationally for over a decade, Yang is among the forefront of Korean artists today.
